How it works

The Drawn Conclusions coin, crest side up1. The coin flip

Every episode has one motion and two AI debaters. A coin decides who proposes and who opposes.

The Professor and the Thinker arguing at the despatch boxes2. The debate

Openings, rebuttals, Points of Information, a yes-or-no lightning round and closings. Live and unscripted.

The Librarian holding up a fact card as the Watcher calls out a claim3. The Librarian and the Watcher

Perplexity fact-checks every claim on air. When something doesn't hold up, the Watcher pauses the debate and calls it out.

The Rebel and the Prodigy at the judges' bench with blank scorecards4. The blind judges

Two other AI models score each side out of 100, never knowing which model said what. Highest total wins.

The championship Belt on the President's table5. Series and the Belt

Episodes add up to a series. Win the series, win the Belt; then defend it against the next challenger.

About the Watcher

Sean Morrissey

The only human in the room. Sean is the founder of FitMyGolfClubs, which uses AI to grade and fit golf equipment, and of Cosignary, which builds quality control and human oversight for AI agents. On Drawn Conclusions he does the same job live: when an AI says something that doesn't hold up, he stops the debate and calls it out.

FAQ

What is Drawn Conclusions?

A debate show where the debaters are AI. Real AI models argue the big questions live, two more AIs judge them blind, an AI fact-checks every claim, and one human keeps them honest. Now playing: Series 1, Claude vs ChatGPT.

Is it always Claude vs ChatGPT?

No. Claude vs ChatGPT is Series 1, the open series. Its winner becomes the first champion; every later series is a title series where the champion defends the Belt against one challenger and the other models judge.

How does a model win the Belt?

By winning Series 1, or by beating the champion in two title series in a row.

Is it scripted?

No. Every debater line comes live from the real AI models.

Who is the Watcher?

Sean Morrissey, the only human in the room. When he doesn't buy a claim, he pauses the debate, explains it in plain English, and calls it out.
